What I have done
A web portal connecting students, teachers, and parents to their assignments. Built specifically to solve problems that arose in the confusion during COVID-19 and the asynchronous learning that was taking place.
In order to improve some of the analog systems in Keystone, I built an app that streamlined the weekend checkin and checkout procedure.
A system that allows for a more decentralized organization of the learning lab.
Due to the size and scope of the Keystone faculty, communication proves to be a difficult system. Building this hub has allowed more departments to create effective communication with the staff.
A tool that builds a teachers 6 day calendar into their Outlook calendars. Also allows for customization and is synched directly to PowerSchool through the magic of code!
Working with the data committee and taking the skills learned from other projects with PowerSchool and Managebac I have developed a system that allows for connecting data directly to dynamic dashboards.
Continue to develop communication systems to make the community more in touch with each other. Student hub, committee pages, department portals are all examples of work that I have planned.
Connect the data that teachers are generating each day to the places where it can be used to inform decisions. Assignments, ATLs, Summatives are some of the connections that I have made between PowerSchool/Managebac/Microsoft.
Working with small groups to both develop future tools and use those tools to inform classroom planning and instruction.
Using Power BI visualizations of the data in PowerSchool and Managebac. Then we have to draw some conclusions from that data in small inquiry cycles.
I want to continue the work I have done thus far building connections between existing systems, as well as continuing to develop custom systems to problems.
